#ThrowbackThursday: I Have a Dream

It's #ThrowbackThursday! I Have a Dream speech.

Bem, vou postar aqui embaixo meu (simplório) discurso.

I HAVE A DREAM
By Felipe Carvalho

I have a dream. I know this dream is not only mine, but that does not make it less important. My dream is about the youth. My dream is about the young people from today.

I hope that one day teenagers and young people will stop thinking only about themselves and will start to see what is around them. I really want that in a very close future people stop being comfortable with what is going on all over the world and realize that we need to make a difference. If we want our world to change, we have to make a difference.

We need to forget our personal interests for a while and think about other people who might not have future expectations at all. We have to put aside our computers, video games, iPads and remember that there is a real world out there, a real society outdoors which will always remain the same if we don't react and do something.

I also have a dream that one day volunteering will not be considered a waste of time, but it will be an essential part of everyone's lives. In order to reach this dream, I cannot act alone. I know that I have to count on other people who share the same thoughts, so that we can treat not only the problem, but its cause as well.

I am sure this is not going to be an easy task, but I am also sure that every work put into it is going to be worth it.

See you soon! :)
